And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
