The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
