Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!). 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
