To God belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And on the day when the Hour is come, upon that day the vain-doers shall lose. 27 You shall see every nation hobbling on their knees. Each nation shall be summoned to its Book. (And it will be said:) 'This Day, you shall be recompensed for what you were doing. 28 This record of ours will declare the truth about you: We have been recording whatever you have been doing." 29 And as for those who have believed and done deeds of righteousness, their Lord shall admit them into His mercy; that is the manifest triumph. 30 As for the infidels, (it will be said): "Were not My messages read out to you? But you behaved with self-conceit, and became a sinful people. 31 And when it was said, Surely the promise of Allah is true and as for the hour, there is no doubt about it, you said: We do not know what the hour is; we do not think (that it will come to pass) save a passing thought, and we are not at all sure. 32 And the evil of what they did will appear to them, and they will be completely encircled by that which they used to mock at! 33 and it shall be said: 'Today, We will forget you as you yourselves forgot that you would encounter this Day. The Fire shall be your refuge, and none will help you. 34 This, because you took the revelations of Allah (this Quran) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be Yusta'tabun (i.e. they shall not return to the worldly life, so that they repent to Allah, and beg His Pardon for their sins). 35 Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the Worlds. 36 His is the supremacy in the heavens and the earth; and He is the all-mighty and all-wise. 37
