They will ask you about the mountains. Tell them: "My Lord will uproot them from the base, 105 "He will leave them as plains smooth and level; 106 You shall not see therein any crookedness or unevenness. 107 On that Day all will follow the summoning voice from which there is no escape; and all voices will be hushed before the Lord of Mercy, and nothing will be heard except a subdued murmur. 108 On that Day intercession shall not avail save of him whom the Most Compassionate Lord permits, and whose word of intercession is pleasing to Him. 109 He knoweth (all) that is before them and (all) that is behind them, while they cannot compass it in knowledge. 110 ۞ And [on that Day] all faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being; and undone shall be he who bears [a burden of] evildoing 111 but whosoever does righteous works, being a believer, shall have no fear of suffering wrong or loss." 112 Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran, and We have turned about in it something of threats, that haply they may be godfearing, or it may arouse in them remembrance. 113 Exalted then be God, the real King; and do not try to anticipate the Qur'an before the completion of its revelation, but pray: "O Lord, give me greater knowledge." 114 And indeed We made a covenant with Adam before, but he forgot, and We found on his part no firm will-power. 115
