The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
