3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Thereafter We caused the others to be drowned. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: What is it that ye worship? 85 Do you want to worship false idols as your lords besides God? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 Then he looked at the stars, looking up once, 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the raging fire." 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!” 102 When they both agreed and Abraham had lain down his son on the side of his face (for slaughtering), 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 108 Peace be unto Ibrahim: 109 Thus do We reward the good. 110 He is truly among Our faithful creatures. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
