Al-A 'araaf 13 of 24
Is it not a guidance to those who inherit the earth after those who inhabited it that, did We will, We would smite them because of their sins, sealing their hearts so they do not hear? 100 We have told you the stories of those towns: their messengers came to them with clear signs, but they were never going to believe in something they had already rejected. Thus God seals up the hearts of those who deny the truth. 101 We did not find many of them faithful to their promises, and found many of them disobedient. 102 Then we raised after them Musa with Our communications to Firon and his chiefs, but they disbelieved in them; consider then what was the end of the mischief makers. 103 And Musa said: O Firon! surely I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds: 104 I must only speak what is true about God. I have brought you miracles from your Lord; therefore, let the children of Israel go free". 105 Pharaoh said: if you have brought a sign, then bring it forth if you are truthful.' 106 Therefore Moosa put down his staff – it immediately turned into a visible python. 107 And he drew out his hand, and behold! it was white to all beholders! 108
