Blest be He Who hath placed big stars in the heaven, and hath placed therein a lamp and a moon enlightening. 61 It is He who has made the night and the day, one proceeding the other, for whoever wants to take heed or give thanks. 62 And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, 63 and those who spend the night prostrating themselves, and standing before their Lord, 64 And who submit, “Our Lord – avert the punishment of hell from us; indeed its punishment is a permanent neck-shackle.” 65 evil it is as a lodging-place and an abode'; 66 Who are neither prodigal nor miserly in their spending but follow a middle path; 67 and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital 68 doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection is his punishment, and therein he shall live, humbled, 69 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. God will change the evil deeds of such people into good ones: He is most forgiving and most merciful. 70 And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. 71 those who do not testify falsely and when they come across something impious, pass it by nobly, 72 And those who, when they are admonished by the commands of Allah, fall not down thereat, deaf and blind. 73 And those who say: our Lord bestow on us coolness of eyes from our wives and our offspring, and make us unto the God-fearing a pattern. 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest rank for their patience. There they shall receive a greeting, and peace! 75 And abide there for ever: What an excellent destination and abode! 76 Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come. 77
