Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
