The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
