See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
