Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Surely the fruit of the Zaqqum tree 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 (Saying): 'Taste, surely you are the mighty and noble! 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 But those mindful of God will be in a safe place, 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
