Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
