Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 For a known calculated term. 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
