54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Ha Mim! 1 A revelation from Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 2 A Book whose signs have been distinguished as an Arabic Koran for a people having knowledge, 3 Good tidings and a warning. But most of them turn away so that they hear not. 4 And they say, "Our hearts are within coverings from that to which you invite us, and in our ears is deafness, and between us and you is a partition, so work; indeed, we are working." 5 Say: I am only a mortal like you; it is revealed to me that your Allah is one Allah, therefore follow the right way to Him and ask His forgiveness; and woe to the polytheists; 6 Who do not give a due share of their wealth for the welfare of others, and do not believe in the Hereafter. 7 For those who believe and do good works is an enduring wage' 8
