3/4 Hizb 52
< random >
We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 not even a word can he utter but there is a watcher with him, ever-present. 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 His companion said: “Here is he who was in my charge.” 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 forbidder of good, transgressor and doubter, 25 Who setteth up another god along with Allah. Do ye twain hurl him to the dreadful doom. 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 "Do not argue in My presence. I had announced the promise of doom in advance. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
