Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
