The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Woe to the stinters; 1 Those who, when they take by measure from mankind, exact the full, 2 But when they measure out to others or weigh out for them, they are deficient. 3 Do such (men) not consider that they will be raised again 4 unto a mighty day 5 The Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 Woe to them! Let them know that the records of the sinner's deeds are in Sijin. 7 And what will explain to thee what Sijjin is? 8 A record of misdeeds written. 9 Woe, then, to those that give the lie, 10 Those who deny the Day of Judgment 11 No one rejects it except the sinful transgressors 12 When you recite Our verses to him, he says, “Stories of earlier men!” 13 No! Their own deeds have cast a veil over their hearts. 14 Yes indeed they will be deprived of seeing their Lord on that day. 15 Then indeed, they will [enter and] burn in Hellfire. 16 Then shall it be said: This is what you gave the lie to. 17 Surely the ledger of the pious will be in 'Illiyun (heights above the heights). 18 And what can make you know what is 'illiyyun? 19 The record is a sealed text. 20 Witnessed by those who are honoured. 21 Verily the virtuous shall be in Delight, 22 upon couches gazing; 23 Thou wilt know in their faces the radiance of delight. 24 They will be given to drink of pure wine, sealed. 25 whose seal is musk so let all aspirants aspire after that 26 And its mixture is of Tasneem, 27 a fountain at which the chosen ones shall drink. 28 Those in sin used to laugh at those who believed, 29 And winked at one another as they passed by them; 30 And when they returned to their household they returned jesting. 31 And when they saw them, they said: "Verily! These have indeed gone astray!" 32 (they said so although) they had not been appointed watchers over them. 33 So today the believers are laughing at the unbelievers, 34 On thrones, they will look. 35 Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do? 36
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
