The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
