Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? 2 (Worship) on the Night of Destiny is better than (worship) for a thousand months. 3 on that night, the angels and the Spirit come down by the permission of their Lord with His decrees for all matters; 4 Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn. 5
