The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
