Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
