The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
