Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
