And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 God has not begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others. God is much too glorious for what they attribute (to Him)! 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
