Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ OH, THE LAYING-BARE of the truth! 1 What is the Reality? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the reality is! 3 The Thamud and 'Ad denied the consequential calamity. 4 The Thamuds were destroyed by a violent blast of sound. 5 and the Ad were destroyed by a furiously raging wind-storm 6 He forced it upon them with strength, consecutively for seven nights and eight days so you would see those people overthrown in it, like trunks of date palms fallen down. 7 Do you then see of them one remaining? 8 And Firon and those before him and the overthrown cities continuously committed sins. 9 And they disobeyed their Lord's apostle, so He laid hold of them with a grip increasing. 10 And when the waters rose (high) We carried you in the sailing (Ark), 11 That We might make it a remembrance for you, and the keen ear (person) may (hear and) understand it. 12 So when the Trumpet will be blown, with a sudden single blow. 13 And the earth with the mountains shall be lifted up and crushed with one crash, 14 Then on that Day shall happen the Event. 15 And the heaven shall cleave asunder, so that on that day it shall be frail, 16 and the angels [will appear] at its ends, and above them, eight will bear aloft on that Day the throne of thy Sustainer's almightiness… 17 On that day all of you will be brought forth, so none among you wishing to hide will be able to hide. 18 Now as for him whose record shall be placed in his right hand, he will exclaim: "Come you all!" Read this my record! 19 I was certain I'll be given my account." 20 So he shall be in a life of pleasure, 21 In an elevated garden, 22 The Fruits whereof (will hang in bunches) low and near. 23 "Eat ye and drink ye, with full satisfaction; because of the (good) that ye sent before you, in the days that are gone!" 24 Then as to him who shall be vouchsafed his book in his left hand, he shall say: Oh! would that I had not been vouchsafed my book. 25 and neither known this my account! 26 Oh, would that this [death of mine] had been the end of me! 27 Of no use was even my wealth. 28 "My power has perished from me!"... 29 [Thereupon the command will go forth:] "Lay hold of him, and shackle him, 30 then throw them into hell to be heated up therein. 31 then fasten him with a chain, seventy cubits long. 32 Surely he did not believe in Allah, the Great, 33 Nor urged others to feed the poor. 34 and so, no friend has here today, 35 Nor any food except filth from the washing of wounds, 36 “Which none except the guilty shall eat.” 37

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
