Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
