Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 But no, indeed, you shall soon know. 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
