Man says, 'What, when I am dead shall I then be brought forth alive?' 66 But does man not remember that We created him when he was nothing before? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 On the contrary, We will write down what he says and prolong the length of his punishment. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection). 82

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
