So by oath of the things you see. 38 and by what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
