What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
