The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is sundered. 1 And it hearkeneth to its Lord, and is duteous. 2 when the earth flattens out, 3 And casts forth what is within it and becomes (clean) empty, 4 And obeys its Lord and it must. 5 O human, you are working hard towards your Lord and you will meet Him. 6 And as for him whose record shall be placed in his right hand, 7 shall be called to an easy accounting, 8 And he shall return unto his people joyfully. 9 And as to him who shall be given his book from behind his back 10 shall call for destruction 11 And he will enter a Blazing Fire. 12 He used to live joyfully among his people, 13 Verily, he thought that he would never come back (to Us)! 14 But he will indeed! His Lord was ever watching him. 15 No! I swear by the twilight 16 And by the night and that which it driveth together, 17 or by the moon when it is full, 18 That you will climb from stage to stage. 19 What is the matter with them that they do not accept faith? 20 When the Quran is read to them, why do they not fall to their knees? ۩ 21 But on the contrary the Unbelievers reject (it). 22 Yet God has full knowledge of what they conceal [in their hearts]. 23 So give them the good news of a painful chastisement, 24 Except to those who believe and work righteous deeds: For them is a Reward that will never fail. 25
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
