But he did not verify the Truth, nor did he observe Prayer; 31 But he denied and turned away. 32 and then went arrogantly back to what he had come from. 33 [And yet, O man, thine end comes hourly] nearer unto thee, and nearer 34 and ever nearer unto thee, and nearer! 35 Does man think that he will be left alone, unquestioned? 36 Was he not once a [mere] drop of sperm that had been spilt, 37 then he became a clot, and then Allah made it into a living body and proportioned its parts, 38 And made him in two sexes, male and female. 39 So will He, Who has done all this, not be able to revive the dead? 40
