Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the graves are turned upside down (and they bring out their contents) 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 Who know what you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
