The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the heaven and the night-comer 1 And what will make you know what the comer by night is? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 There is no living being but there is a protector over it. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 He has been created from an ejected drop of fluid 6 that issues from between the loins and the ribs. 7 God has all power to resurrect him. 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 And [by] the earth which cracks open, 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 And it is not a thing for amusement. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 But I am planning a plan. 16 Let, then, the deniers of the truth have their will: let them have their will for a little while. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.
