Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 a messenger from God, reciting to them pure scriptures, 2 Containing correct and straight laws from Allah. 3 Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence. 4 And they were ordered only to worship Allah, believing purely in Him – devoted solely (to Him), and to establish the prayer and to pay the obligatory charity – and this is the straight religion. 5 Surely the unbelievers among the people of the Book and the idolaters, will abide in the fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. 6 But those that believe and work righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. 7 Whose reward is with their Lord -- gardens of Eden with rivers flowing by, where they will abide for ever, God pleased with their service, they with obedience to Him. This (awaits) him who stands in awe of his Lord. 8
