With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment). 60
