Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
