Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue, that haply they may remember. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59
