Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those that winnow with a winnowing 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 Then by oath of those which distribute by the command. 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 and the recompense shall surely happen. 6 By the beautiful heavens, 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 who are dazed in perplexity 11 They ask: when is the Day of Requital coming? 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (and tested) over the Fire! 13 and will be told, "Suffer the torment which you wanted to experience immediately". 14 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and fresh springs of water, 15 receiving their reward from their Lord. They had been righteous people before the Day of Judgment. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness; 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 There are many Signs on earth for those of sure faith, 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 There is in the heavens your sustenance, and whatever has been promised you. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth! it is most surely the truth, just as you do speak. 23
