۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a book that is protected 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it this discourse that ye hold lightly? 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 and you are watching at that time 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
