In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And those that strike violently, 2 Consider these [messages] that spread [the truth] far and wide, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
