The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
