The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 When Shu'aib said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 177 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being. 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, do not be among the cheats, 181 And weigh with the true balance. 182 "And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief. 183 So fear Him Who created you and the former generations. 184 They replied, "You are bewitched. 185 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. 186 Let a part of the sky fall on us if what you say is true". 187 He said: 'My Lord knows what you are doing' 188 They rejected him and then the torment of the gloomy day struck them. It was certainly a great torment. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
