Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 nay, again, you shall soon come to know. 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
