And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Was it not a proof for them that the learned men of Israel knew about this? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners. 200 They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom, 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 they say: "Can we be granted some respite?" 203 So for Our punishment are they impatient? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised! 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners, 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 Indeed they are debarred from even hearing it. 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 And warn your near relations, 214 And take those believers under your wing who follow you. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, only the wayward follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? 225 And they speak what they do not do? 226 Save those who believed and worked righteous works and remembered Allah much, and vindicated themselves after they had been wronged. And anon those who do wrong shall come to know with what a translating they shall be translated. 227
