1/2 Hizb 45

۞ [The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 "But stop them, verily they are to be questioned. 24 'Why do you not help one another? 25 Nay! on that day they shall be submissive. 26 They will turn to each other saying, 27 They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!" 28 The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 So this day they all are partners in the punishment. 33 Verily We! in this wise We deal with the culprits. 34 for when it was said to them, 'There is no god but God,' they were ever waxing proud, 35 And (they) said: "Are we going to abandon our aliha (gods) for the sake of a mad poet? 36 "Surely, he has brought the truth, confirming those who were sent before; 37 Verily ye are going to taste a torment afflictive. 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 Except the chosen creatures of God, 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 Fruits; and they will be honoured. 42 in the Gardens of Bliss, 43 upon couches, set face to face, 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 Wherein there is no headache nor are they made mad thereby. 47 And with them maidens of modest look and large lustrous eyes, 48 [as free of faults] as if they were hidden [ostrich] eggs. 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe 52 after we die and become dust and bones, we shall be brought to judgement?'" 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 And he will say: by Allah, thou hadst wellnigh causedest me to perish. 56 “And were it not for the munificence of my Lord, I too would have been seized and brought forth (captive)!” 57 But then, [O my friends in paradise,] is it [really] so that we are not to die 58 Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 For the like of it should the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of al-Zaqqum? 62 Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. 63 For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire: 64 Its spathes are like the heads of satans. 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 On top of it they shall have a brew of boiling water, 67 then surely they shall return to Hell. 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 Most of the ancient people had also gone astray. 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 Therefore see what sort of fate befell those who were warned! 73 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 74
