And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
