Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
